Flat Cameras originated as a component of an interactive installation titled “the clicker,” produced for the Fall 2004 faculty group exhibition, Microclimate in the Harris Art Gallery at the University of La Verne. An excerpt from the statement for that installation considers “…the insatiable appetite photographers often possess for technical data to accompany their images. The technical specifications posted for the cameras in the installation are simultaneously true and worthless, with respect to application of the cameras for the designated purpose...”
