Made in the late 1970s or early 1980s these frames were exposed on 4X5 Ektachrome in a Tachihara field camera with a 210mm Schneider Symmar lens. The files presented here are among the first attempts to digitize negatives and transparencies with a D810 camera and a 105mm Micro-Nikkor lens, using a film holder by "pixl-latr" on a LCD light table. It kinda works. The "pixl-latr" does not hold the film perfectly flat, so focusing across the field is iffy. But the technique shows promise. The files are minimally processed, mostly for dust, with the saturation dialed back.
